e other day, sis had a crazy idea of going to an ice cream parlour after we had our lunch at bukit batok. of coz i'm very clueless as to places in singapore, as usual. she den suddenly remembered, somewer uptown in.....

der's an ice cream place.....

called ben & jerry's! now, dis place sells e best and expensive ice creams.

but. whaddehell!

dis is wer orders were taken...

and dis is juz 1 part of it!!! ders another booth filled wif other flavours which i didnt snap!

..for u to put on your ice creams....

and then around the ice cream bar, we discovered...

...pastries...

...and more pastries...

.........and........

oh god. sins and evil were awaiting e other side. hekz. but we didnt get any coz we were from lunch remember? so we juz drooled over e displays, wondering wen did ben & jerry's started selling pastries?? but den, our orders came.....

which is reali a small bowl filled wif 7 diff flavours for u to choose from, all packed into one. topped wif brownies and bananas and nuts. super-duper yummy-licious!!!!

and it only cost like 20bux!! i mean who spends 20bux on ice cream alone rite??

dis is way, way, way smaller den swensen's earthquake which costs less den 20bux, btw.

but its not like u get to indulge in dis kinda sin every single day...

and e atmosphere is beautiful and cosy. plop urself into one of their soft sofas or swinging benches and have a great afternoon wif ur frenz. plus, not much people are der which makes it super serene!!

now full already (and feeling very guilty!!!), on the way out of the carpark we saw dis!

yar parrots!! not even chained to e trees ok!! dey are like super trained larh. wun even fly away!! der were lots of dem in front of dis antique store. sis's bf thot dis shop was selling dem.

"yar, like parrots are antiques now is it????"

den dis 2 birds, oblivious to us, are busy kissing away!!! damn cute larh. thank god dey didnt harm us wen we took their pix. hehe.

RECOMMENDED: u guys shuld go der sumtym and experience dis. besides the ice cream parlaour der are several antique shops and bars. go! go! go!
